Dozie Obele has over thirty years of local and international experience in corporate law practice. He is renowned for helping clients manage Regulatory Risk across all sectors. Dozie holds a Master of Laws Degree in Securities and Financial Regulations from Georgetown University Law Centre in Washington D.C. and is admitted to the New York State Bar.
Dozie heads the Public Sector/Regulatory and Compliance Practice Group of the Firm. He has proven expertise in advising multinational corporations under investigation by regulatory agencies in multiple jurisdictions. He has also advised government agencies engaged in key, specialized sectors: Power Sector Reform; Amnesty Programs; Infrastructure; Youth Empowerment and Social Safety Net Projects.
Dozie has dealt extensively in corporate and securities law, with a focus on Corporate Governance, Project Finance, Regulatory Compliance, Disclosures, and General Corporate Matters. His vast experience includes practice in Sustainable Development, Real Estate, Immigration, and transactional aspects of the bulk movement of petroleum products.
